Aaron Morrison is a New York City-based multimedia journalist who holds a B.A. in Journalism from San Francisco State University. He plans to pursue a master’s degree in 2011. Meanwhile, Aaron has high hopes to permanently join a multi-platform news organization to cover daily news across a wide variety of topics.
Aaron spent spring of 2010 as the legislative relief reporter for The Associated Press statehouse bureau in Trenton, N.J. He has covered everything from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s budget to the crimes that occur in the shadows of the statehouse dome. Prior to that, Aaron completed a summer internship at the AP’s Mid-Atlantic bureau in Baltimore, Md.
In his down time, Aaron enjoys the company of his friends and extended family. His Sunday mornings revolve around a cup of coffee, the CBS morning program, followed by NBC’s Meet the Press and reading the Sunday edition of the New York Times, which may be interrupted by various cooking programs on public television. In other words, Aaron is a lazy bum on Sundays.
